The pluck synth is actually from Spire and a preset because Martin Garrix actually used a Spire plugin (tho my sound is not accurate, it's close enough). I'm not an expert in sound design, but regarding some tips about sound design, I would say play around with the ADSR first to get some ideas about how you want to get the right sound; then, experiment with the waves and the cutoff. Sometimes I would analyze someone else's synth and try to determine the proper waves and settings. Like, you wouldn't want to use a sine wave for a progressive house lead synth. Also, if you want to, try to find a preset of any soundbank. Then, find a pluck sound and attempt to mimic the synth as close as possible by experimenting and constantly tweaking. Hope it helps :)

443, but I don't think he uploaded the video on youtube, so I got it from 1001tracklists as that is where you could find what tracks DJs play including unreleased ones. Also, the track is already out now, so be sure to support them ;)

We do, but we enjoy making them, so I don't see a problem with that as long as a track is well-mixed, well-produced, and have a degree of emotion regardless whether it's generic or not. 😄😄
